Single-Column Recirculating Gas Purification Unit
Many laboratories operate glove boxes on a passive purge-and-fill basis — periodically flushing with fresh inert gas to dilute accumulated oxygen and moisture. This approach consumes substantial quantities of high-purity gas, maintains only a time-averaged atmosphere quality, and cannot sustain O₂ and H₂O below 1 ppm during active use. A recirculating purification unit addresses all three limitations by continuously circulating the box atmosphere through a purification column that chemically captures both O₂ and H₂O, regenerating automatically when the purification material becomes saturated.
This single-column unit is compact enough to mount directly beneath a standard glove box bench. Virospuk engineers will assess your box volume, antechamber cycling frequency, and target atmosphere specification before recommending the correct column capacity and circulation rate.
