Stainless Steel Vacuum Glove Box — Lithium-Ion and Solid-State Battery Assembly
Stainless steel construction provides substantially superior outgassing characteristics compared to painted steel — critical in applications where the box must maintain very low H₂O levels without excessive purging. The integrated vacuum flange and gauge allow the antechamber to be evacuated to high vacuum before inert gas backfill, virtually eliminating atmosphere contamination during sample transfer. This construction and transfer methodology is the correct approach for solid-state battery assembly, where even brief moisture exposure can cause catastrophic electrolyte degradation.
